The Filipino Community Council of Victoria, Inc. proudly celebrates and supports the 50th anniversary of Vietnamese settlement in Australia. Our CEO, Rox Sarthou, was honoured to join the Australian Vietnamese Women's Association - Hội Phụ Nữ Việt Úc for a vibrant community celebration hosted in the City of Yarra.

From the powerful cultural performances that honoured heritage to the delicious food demonstrations that brought the community together, the event was a heartfelt reminder of what makes Australia so special — our shared commitment to diversity, inclusion, and belonging.

As members of the Filipino community, we are proud to stand beside the Vietnamese community on such a meaningful occasion.

We are especially delighted to be invited by Nicky Chung, CEO of AVWA and connect with councillors from the City of Yarra and Brimbank, and Iwan Walters MP, the Parliamentary Secretary for Multicultural Affairs.
